Duel on Tatooine

Here is a mini diorama of the brief duel between Qui-Gon Jinn and Darth Maul on Tatooine. 

I wanted to do a Darth Maul diorama but I didn't want to do anything I had seen before, I've seen several dioramas of the final lightsaber duel in the Phantom Menace but never the Tatooine duel. 

I used the vintage collection Qui-Gon but gave his face and hair a repaint, and I added a farmers poncho. The Darth Maul is just the vintage collection figure no extra paint. The lightsaber was modified so that only one blade was ignited. 

Imperial Sith Inquisitor

This was a quick custom I did of a generic imperial inquisitior that works for palpatine to hunt Jedi that survived order 66. 

Unfortunately with the cape he doesn't have a great range of motion and can't make more dramatic poses. I wanted him to look imposing but also sophisticated. 

Captain Panaka custom action figure

I made this captain Panaka figure from the most recent captain typho action figure and the head of the original captain Panaka from the phantom menace line. 

Galen Marek Sith Outfit Custom Star Wars Action Figure

This Galen Marek Custom was more about the accessories than the actual figure. I added a soft goods cape to replace the plastic cape he came with. I also replaced the plastic skirt with a soft goods one as well. Finally I gave him a different plastic hood and gave him a lightning effect to go with him. 

Darth Phobos Custom Action Figure

This is one of the coolest looking action figures in recent years and after I read a bit about Darth Phobos on wookiepedia I decided I wanted to do a custom. I gave her GI Joe style leg articulation which gave her a huge range of motion. I also added a little height to the head so it sits higher on the neck. Finally I gave her a dark wash of paint to bring out the details of the figure.  

Cade Skywalker Custom Action Figure

I never really read the legacy Star Wars comics, but I did have a Cade Figure laying around so I decided to do a custom of him. I gave him a new coat of paint on his pants and touched up the hair a bit. Then I sawped the arms from a hawkeye action figure. The final touch were the tattoos.

Asajj Ventress custom action figure

I made this custom of Asajj Ventress to be closer in appearance to the way she appeared in the Clone Wars comic book series.
